The site

The head office of Danisco Animal Nutrition is situated in Marlborough, with 35 employees. The R&D, Regulatory, Global Marketing, Global Technical Services and Finance functions are based at the head office.

History

Danisco’s animal nutrition division was first established in the early 1980s. We pioneered the introduction of enzyme technology to the animal feed industry, a step seen as one of the biggest breakthroughs in animal nutrition in the last 30 years. Similarly the introduction of betaine has been ground breaking, fundamentally challenging established feed and formulation practices.

Danisco Animal Nutrition is today a leading global supplier of enzymes, betaine and flavours to improve the nutrition of poultry, pig and some aquaculture species. Our core competencies include the ability to combine animal nutrition knowledge and applications development to deliver value-adding solutions to the poultry, pig and aquaculture feed industries.

Our mission is to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions to our customers that increase efficiency and safety of the food production chain in an environmentally responsible way.

Operating through a distributor network in over 60 countries, and with regional sales offices located throughout the world, Danisco Animal Nutrition’s technical team offers specialist and country specific nutritional support and advice based upon extensive feed industry and animal nutrition experience.
