Danisco, through its microbial screening programs, will be searching for strains by many different routes, and from many different geographic locations. Danisco strains will be isolated from:
- Environmental samples isolated from diverse ecosystems in nature;
- Samples from fermented foods;
- Samples obtained from culture collections; and
- Other sources.
