The Product Manager - Functional Systems, is accountable to the Senior Director G&S, NAFTA for establishing sales and market goals, business plans, and standards of performance for the U.S. and Canada, and marketing goals and standards for Mexico. The primary accountability is for the profit/market share both in the short and long term for the North American continent. With respect to Mexico, incumbent must work closely with the Regional-manager and sales staff of Mexico.
We are looking for a candidate who can:
determine market share position and profitability
develop and implement plans to achieve goals through use of Sales, Innovation, and Marketing Services.
provide pricing guidelines consistent with profit and market share goals.
analyze market and competitive intelligence to determine weaknesses/dangers and opportunities to obtain the best planning.
develop and implement plans for DUSA to grow into aligned businesses through internal development and acquisition.
provide CMI forecast and department budget for the Senior Director G&S, NAFTA and Director, Finance.
provide CMI and modified operating profit forecasts
review and approve sales forecaset for production planning.
determine sales priorities with the Senior Director G&S, NAFTA.
provide sales force with selling tools and sales programs including general product and application literature, and recommendations of ways to make customer presentation and on arguments to overcome customer objections.
recommend changes in basic structure and organization of sales and marketing group to ensure the effective fulfillment of objectives, provide flexibility to react to situations, and to assure training and continuity of personnel.
You are the candidate we are seeking if:
you have a BS (preferably MS) degree in Food Science or related field with experience in Business Management
you have 10 - 15 years technical marketing and sales experience in food industry adn have previous management experience preferably minimum of 5 - 10 years
you have excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills required.
you can demonstrated ability to coordinate a high level of activity under a variety of conditions and constraints.
