Three key growth areas

Our core business is focused on discovering, developing, and manufacturing industrial enzymes. Our current business development projects are moving us into three additional areas of focus:

1. Ligno-cellulosic biorefineries. Our goal is to more economically produce clean-burning, efficient ethanol fuel at high-volume quantities.
2. Biochemicals. Our goal is to provide economical, effective products to help reduce the environmental impact of traditional chemical production methods while increasing their efficiency.
3. Performance proteins and peptides. Our goal is to develop, produce, and market new protein biomaterials and peptides with unique functionalities.

We’ve already made strong in-roads into these three new areas of industrial application, but we’re continually expanding our work.
