Genencor’s innovative enzyme product lines offer better solutions for biofinishing of cellulosic fabrics and garments.

Our cellulases are used for upgrading textile quality by improving fabric appearance with removal of surface fibrils and pills, reduction of dead and immature cotton, as well as prevention of subsequent pilling during wash and wear.

Biofinishing results in softer hand feel, smoother fabric surface, and better draping of fabrics. These benefits are long lasting, and provide a better product for the consumer.

PRIMAFAST® LUNA products minimize shade change of colored fabrics during biofinishing and improve fabric strength retention. These benefits allow biofinishing to be completed after the dyeing process.

With this product line, Genencor sets a new industry standard for biofinishing cellulases and is broadening its product portfolio.
