Finding the needle in the haystack
By mapping the DNA sequences that provide genetic blueprints of living organisms, we identify coded proteins in each gene. We compile these codes into large data libraries and search them using a powerful, high-speed computer screening process.
With this process, Genencor can find the needle in the haystack - a novel protein that can be produced economically to meet a customer's exact need.
