We operate in a manner that complies with legal requirements and are focused on pioneering best practice in areas relevant to our business. We manage our sustainability efforts on the basis of a well-defined management system and report on our performance regularly.
Our activities are centred around five focus areas each accompanied by specific objectives:
Quality and customer satisfaction.
We will be proactive, effective and innovative in order to ensure continued improvement of customer satisfaction.
Product safety
We will deliver safe products and continuously develop our comprehensive and efficient HACCP system. We will communicate relevant experiences throughout the value chain and share best practice.
Health and safety
We will prioritise a healthy and safe working place characterised by job satisfaction as well as clear responsibilities and expectations . We will pay special attention to the human behaviour to prevent accidents.
Energy and environment
We will improve our environmental performance by following ambitious standards and developing best practice. We will have a special focus on reducing our climate impact and energy consumption as well as on increasing our use of renewable energy.
Business integrity and social responsibility
We comply with the ten principles of the UN Global Compact in the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption. We will do business with partners sharing similar values. We will engage in dialogue with our stakeholders to be responsive to their views on our company and how we may improve our performance as well as to take part in the public debate.
