Of the two vitamin K families, vitamin K2 (MK4-10+) has the greatest bioavailability and a much longer half-life in the blood. Vitamin K2 was recently approved by EFSA, the European Food Safety Authority, for bone health claims.
Similar in composition to sugar, inositol is a vitamin-like compound effective in food and feed. The average daily diet contains around 1g of inositol, which the body can also synthesize from glucose.
