The Enablers Division develops, produces and markets emulsifiers, hydrocolloids, and tailored systems that enable food & beverage manufacturers to make tasty, appealing and healthy products. Enablers also equip industrial manufacturers with innovative solutions for non-food applications that can respond to consumers' demand for safe and sustainable products.
Emulsifiers bind together oil and water in an emulsion that can influence the stability of food and industrial products. They are produced from natural resources such as vegetable oils, animal fats and a number of organic acids.
Hydrocolloids are thickening, gelling and stabilizing agents that influence the texture and mouthfeel of numerous food and beverage products. Hydrocolloids are extracted from natural resources such as citrus peel, carob seeds, guar splits, and red and brown seaweed.
