The application centres are specialists in their field, providing food manufacturers with expert ingredient application know-how and processing assistance when developing food products for a given industrial sector like beverage, confectionery, dairy or ice cream.

Through an awareness of regional and global consumer trends, the centres also carry out proactive development of inspirational concepts, demonstrating to manufacturers new possibilities for product innovation to optimise taste and texture. 

To drive new advances within an application area, a series of knowledge teams is in operation. The teams have specific industry competencies and insight as well as processing knowledge.
