Ingredient competencies

Danisco's work to innovate new ingredients and the related processing technology takes place in the development laboratories, which work closely with each product division.

The laboratories are also responsible for functionality testing and analysis as well as providing support for production.

Research into the understanding of interactions between the different ingredients in food allows for the development of highly functional ingredients to the benefits of our customers. Analytical research provides full understanding of even the smallest part of modern foods.

Each development laboratory is characterised by high-level technological expertise. Bio ingredients, for example, are developed from discovery through to delivery. This use of the latest technology secures accurate analyses and highly functional new products.

Legal status varies from country to country. Local food regulations should always be consulted concerning the status of this product, as legislation regarding its use in food may vary from country to country.
