Our antimicrobial topical rinses are patented technologies designed to control the growth of Gram-negative pathogens such as salmonella on whole poultry carcasses and E. coli O157:H7 on beef carcasses.
They are based on two alkaline technologies derived from trisodium phosphates (AvGard® TSP) or more recently sodium metasilicates (AvGard® XP).

| Assur-Rinse® technology Continue program (product + wash equipment + services) |
Technology based on: AvGard® product + Assur-Rinse® wash + equipment modules + patent portfolio + regulatory approvals + mode of action + On-Line Reprocessing system + regular plant safety/quality audits |
All are effective against Gram-negative bacteria (occurrence reduction to level meeting USDA performance standards post chill) and applied as an online spray or immersion. Each can also provide OLR (On-Line Reprocessing) advantages in USDA-inspected poultry operations and provide a generally cleaner appearance with no chemical aftertaste.
Regulatory approval of AvGard®
Local regulation should always be consulted concerning the status of these products as legislation regarding their use may vary from country to country:
